More Later

I have been having a lot of problems downloading pictures for the past few days.
After taking 40 minutes to download four pictures this morning I gave up on the frustrating enterprise and will try again soon to see if the issue has been resolved.
These four pictures were taken in the lower Southfork - a beautiful area outside of Cody, made up of pasture land, large ranches, and eventually (when you drive far enough from civilization) mountainous portions of the Shoshone National Forest.
The picture above was taken in the Shoshone, and although it is a very beautiful area it is also strange to see such barren and wide open land referred to as national forest.
The picture was taken about 15 miles or so from Cody..................
These three pictures are a study in contrasts.
They were taken only 5 or 6 miles from town and show the difference between irrigated and non-irrigated land.
In the above picture Buffalo Bill Reservoir is barely visible close to the mountains................
I took a lot of pictures of the Southfork on the same day that I took these pictures.
More to follow when this site downloads a little faster..................
