Visit From Margie - Part 5

This story about my friend Margie visiting from Tennessee is taking way too long to share.
My business has taken up huge amounts of time and energy this past fall.
But it has been a true labor of love, and although it has been time and energy intensive it cannot be described as "work".
I've now been up and running for almost 20 months, and the numbers (revenue) from last year to this make me feel good about what I have been creating.
There is still much room to grow.
But right after the holidays things will slow down for the first four months of 2020.
Love what I am doing.
But also looking forward to some quieter time...............

The visit happened in September.  When it was still (mostly) warm.  Here we are in December when it is now (mostly) cold.
LC, Margie, Kory and I spent a very long day at Yellowstone National Park on this day.
Entering through the East Gate we stopped multiple times, I took endless pictures, and we exited through the Cooke City gate to the north................
Endless bison herds in Lamar Valley, while heading to the Cooke City gate..................
We stopped briefly at Dead Indian Pass and this late in the day we all battled against the wind.
Even though the day had been mostly very warm, by the time we hit the pass it was absolutely freezing.
These pictures of LC and Margie tell the tale - "Just take the freakin' pictures already and let's GO!"....................
Even though we had been on the road for 10 hours, we managed to see only one small section of the park.
So much to see and so little time to see it.
It had been a great day but all three humans (and one dog) were exhausted by the time we finally got back to the house.
We stayed closer to home and enjoyed smaller and quieter adventures for the remainder of her visit..................
